Skin acne is a common skin disease that is a complete nightmare for pubescent teenagers and even adults. Sometimes, you just can’t escape skin acne because it’s a part of your genetics or even your hormonal disturbances. It may sound hopeless and devastating for some of you who are suffering or still suffering from acne, but you can actually do something to minimize or prevent skin acne. Here are a few easy simple ways.
1. Cleanse your face.
It’s highly recommended to wash your face two times a day. By the way, if you plan to wash more than twice then you’re only going to worsen your skin condition. Also, wash your face with warm water and apply a mild face cleanser. Lastly, use a really soft cloth to wipe your face.
2. Moisten your skin.
Keeping your skin acne free requires your dedication in maintaining a skin care regimen, and some cold hard cash to purchase moisturizers. Keep in mind, there are different types of moisturizers catered to the unique skin types people have such as dry, oily, etc. Using an unsuitable moisturizer for your acne filled skin may cause more damage, so be sure to purchase an acne moisturizer that is noncomedogenic.
3. Refrain from exposing your skin to the sun.
The sun isn’t exactly your best friend if you’re acne prone. Constant and long exposure to the sun will lead to swelling and redness. Furthermore, there is a thing called skin cancer, so try your best to avoid the ultraviolet rays of the sun.
4. Abstain from make up as much as possible.
Chemicals and other additives from your cosmetics may worsen your acne. However, if you’re really required to wear make up for your job or whatever, just make sure you wash the entire make up after the day. Another alternative is to purchase oil-free cosmetics, and those that are noncomedogenic.
