1. Oatmeal

Because it has a drying effect, an oatmeal facial mask can absorb extra oil from your pores and cure itchiness and other skin problems.

How to Prepare and Apply

Prepare an oatmeal preparation and add hot water into it. Keep mixing until the paste thickens. Add a teaspoon of honey, two teaspoons of yogurt and a tablespoon of lemon juice. Apply the facial mask evenly on your skin and wait until it dries completely and tighten around your skin. After which, wash away with lukewarm water.

2. Turmeric and Sandalwood

This is one facial mask that not offers an easy, fast and long lasting glow, it aids in curing pimples and acne as well.

How to Prepare and Apply:

Mix one tablespoons of both turmeric and sandalwood powders with three tablespoons rose water. Rinse after ta duration of twenty minutes.

3. Honey

This facial mask is suitable for all skin types. The natural moisturizing effect of honey aids in lightening skin shade and cleaning pores naturally; thereby leaving your skin glowing.

How to Prepare and Apply:

Wash face with water that’s lukewarm then apply honey over your entire face for twenty minutes. Wash it off using a wet towel or sponge that’s drenched in warm water. To close the open pores, rinse with cold water thereafter. For a better result, you can mix any of the following:
Two tablespoons of milk mixed with egg yolk
One part cinnamon powder or a tablespoon of lemon juice mixed with three parts of honey

4. Strawberry

A fruit with so many benefits, strawberries can help decrease dark under eye circles and puffiness. Its abundant content of salicylic acid can get rid of skin cells that are dead, leaving skin soft and smooth just like a baby’s.

How to Prepare and Apply

For a smooth paste, completely mash ripe strawberries then add in two tablespoons of honey and one tablespoon of olive oil. Apply on your face and wait until it dries before washing.

5. Avocado

Avocado is gifted with abundance in potassium; hence, it is a good source of nourishment to help keep its healthy glow.

Preparation and Application

Mash some ripe avocado and mix it with a few lemon juice drops and one teaspoon of yogurt. Apply this on your face, wait for twenty minutes then rinse. If you made number of face masks, you can store it in an air tight jar.
